The first day of camp
Our teacher explained the camp’s rules and plans to us. We discussed our interests and what we have planned for the future. Following that, we learned a new national dance. We then watched a video about how to choose the right profession by focusing on three key points. The first point is the income, or how much money the chosen profession will bring. The second point is about finding a job that you are passionate about. The third point is the goal; what are your intentions and goals in choosing such a profession in life or in general? We used those points to make our 2022 plans.
The second day
We were given the opportunity to create clay sculptures for a festival.
I created an ash tray. After that, we began rehearsing for the upcoming performance, which was scheduled for this week. We read poems by well-known Armenian authors, danced, and sang songs.
The third day
Our teacher gave a presentation about Swot.SWOT is an acronym that stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. We created our SWOT analysis by first identifying our strengths, advantages, and successes. Second, we listed our flaws, or negatives. Third, we wrote about our opportunities, the positive effects we may have, and finally, the threats and risks that will come our way. We talked about it after we finished writing.
After that we had a meeting, but I was uninterested in it. We rehearsed for the performance once more and then went home.
the fourth day
We had another meeting and it was about tourism. She discussed why tourism is important, how climate change has affected it, the different types of tourism, and their economic value. I wasn’t particularly interested, so I didn’t learn much. We went to practice for the performance after the meeting.
the fifth day
With the other class, we played board games. Following that, we watched a video about making difficult choices. We discovered that there is no such thing as a best alternative before making a decision. There is no definitive answer as to which is better or worse. It is entirely up to you. You should not let the outside world influence your decision. After that, we took a personality test. We took a break while we waited for the performance. Every ninth-grader took part in it. We sang, danced, and recited poems by well-known Armenian writers. We went home after we finished.
the first day of the third week
We began by writing our presentation on the topic we had chosen to write about. Then we started talking about dishes that we could make. After much talking, we decided on pasta with yogurt and tomato sauce as the main course. As a side dish, we chose acroshka. After that, each student chose any dish they wanted, to be aside the two main courses. We still had some free time after we made our decisions, so we spent some time in the classroom doing various activities.
The second day of the third week
We went to the kitchen to start preparing our meals.
We brought our own ingredients for the dishes we wanted to make. I prepared a Caesar salad. Caesar salad is a Mexican salad. We ate them after we finished preparing them. They were delicious, and I had a great time preparing them with my friends.
the third week’s third day
We went to a college and were given a tour, which included showing us their classrooms, the wine cellar, and the basement, which housed a collection that included an old little TV and a typewriter. We sat together after walking around and talked about our future and other topics. We left the school an hour later to go to a university. We went to the departments of biology and chemistry. First, we discussed biology as well as their respective teaching methods. Then we moved on to human anatomy and physiology, discussing what they are, as well as body systems, organs, and so on. We went to the lab after finishing to look at plants under a microscope. We then proceeded to the Department of Chemistry to carry out various experiments. It was fascinating, and I had a great time there.
